On Friday afternoon our ‘Team 40 for 40’ cyclists made it safely across the finish line in Colchester, completing their site-to-site challenge cycling 40 miles from Cornwallis Court in Bury St Edmunds back to Lexden Gardens in Colchester.

Our Kind team, in collaboration with our client Essex Housing, were raising funds for St Helena Hospice, a Colchester based charity who this year are marking 40-years caring for the community of Northeast Essex.

At the start line onsite in Bury St Edmunds, our client The Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution Care Company (RMBI) gave our team a warm send off, as our MD Steve Juson cut the ribbon marking the start of the challenge.

Along with our Kind team, additional riders included representatives from: Potter Raper Partnership, Perega Engineers, Carless + Adams Architects and Trident Marketing.

Later that afternoon, joining them at the finish line to hand each participant their celebratory medal was local Councillor for Colchester Cllr Sue Lissimore, who gave thanks to all those who had taken part in the challenge.

Our MD Steve Juson concluded the challenge by saying:

‘’Huge congratulations and well done to all those who participated and helped make this event happen.  We have raised an incredible amount for St Helena, with only a month to plan and execute the bike ride before the weather became less favourable for our participants.  We thank every organisation outside of Kind & Co who have supported this event and donated to our cyclists.

We hope our donation will go a long way to helping many patients, friends and family members requiring support from the staff at St Helena’’.

To date the team have raised an amazing £11,303 for the hospice.  An incredible amount raised for a very worthwhile cause.

Special thanks to:
