Our site teams prepare for our 40 in 40 bike ride to Raise funds for St Helena Hospice!

The Story
Last month we visited St Helena Hospice in Colchester to present them with a donation of £2000 as part of our commitment to support local charitable organisations nearby our project Lexden Gardens.
Walking away from the visit we were inspired by the immensely dedicated care team who provide vital support for those in need of palliative and end of life care for the community of Northeast Essex. What struck us the most about the visit was how very little funding St Helena (along with other hospices) receive from the NHS - meaning the hospice is incredibly dependent on donations and in-kind support to keep offering the wide range of services they provide to their patients.
Fast forward a few weeks…
Since the visit we have spread the word about St Helena across our organisation and it got our local site teams energised to do more to raise funds and awareness for the charity! So, on the 26th September 2025 in collaboration with our Client Essex Housing our site teams at Cornwallis Court In Bury St Edmunds and Lexden Gardens in Colchester are taking on an epic 40 mile challenge to cycle from site-to-site to fundraise for the charity!!
As the charity is marking its 40th year of operation we have called this our 40 for 40 charity bike ride!
Joining our site guys and girls will be team members from our head office, our client and associated wider teams members including Perega Engineers, Potter Raper Partnership and Richardson Hill Health and Safey Consultants.
