Managing Director

Since joining the business as a Trainee Surveyor in 1987, Steve’s thirst for knowledge and professional development has evolved along with his continued success at the company. 

His career path has seen him progress as a surveyor through to project management, then to a position on the board as Operations Director in 2014, (With responsibility for all commercial and operational matters). Finally, in 2023 Steve moved up to the position of Managing Director of the company.

The dynamic nature of work and a drive to overcome challenges are Steve’s motivations, his commitment and tenacity is a fundamental attribute to the business. Complementing Steve’s extensive commercial and operational experience, which he has gained delivering many high-profile and increasingly complex schemes, is his drive to continue to educate himself in a perpetually changing industry. 

Qualifications strengthening his experience includes a BSc in Quantity Surveying, together with many other industry related qualifications and training. Steve is an associate member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and the Chartered Management Institute.

Steve understands and champions the role technology plays in successful project delivery. Along with this he is a strong advocate for driving the business towards an environmentally sustainable future, he is also passionate about delivering projects that achieve similar goals, such as through the delivery of Passivhaus projects.

As someone who has gone from a trainee to Managing Director, Steve exemplifies the success of our personal development programme and our ability to nurture and retain talent.
